Special attention is paid to the establishing of the tourism infrastructure and mapping out inbound and outbound tourist routes. Aktobe Oblast is attractive for investment, and a lot of business people know it. A convenient geographical location of the Oblast is emphasised by the transportation network and a broad range of telecommunication opportunities. The Oblast’s area is 300,000 sq. km, and it is located on the ancient land, at the point where two continents, Europe and Asia, meet. Routes for tourists who come to Kazakhstan from the west will go across the steppe expanses of Aktobe Oblast where they will have an opportunity to meet unique archaeological, geological and natural monuments, history and culture of the friendly and hospitable people. The Oblast’s centre, Aktobe – a modern business-oriented city with proper recreation and entertainment infrastructure for tourists – holds the annual tourist fair every May, Recreation – Summer: Tourism, Travel, Sport. Travel firms in Aktobe organise tours and trips to sights and welcome co-operation in organising unforgettable trips in Aktobe Oblast.
